Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

That's why he got the box for free! Steve bought this candy bar...the last one...and they threw in the box for free. It's a sturdy little cardboard box.

The commentaries are on the movie disks themselves. Whoa! I didn't know about that!!! I'll have to see if I can't check into that this weekend.
:-( I fell asleep instead of watching this afternoon. Guess I stayed up too late last night.

Thursday, January 16, 2003. NO!!!!! I can't believe it! I've felt so bad all week.... that I didn't get a card off!!! Today is my favorite nephew's 21st birthday!!! I feel really bad now.

finally ordered that LoTR CD-Rom I wantedSSQ was ordering a new copy of the Mavis Beacon Typing CD for the kids and found that same LoTR disc for Clare and me! What a sweetie! He KNOWS what Tolkien geeks we are! I can't wait to see what all we can do!

SSQ took the kids tubing at the local ski hill. I have to sew our #2 son another set of curtains for his room at school. I can watch a movie while I'm sewing! Hmmm... What to watch?
