Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

You ain't got it like you used to..... trust me on this. Oh, believe me, I know...
But the quote goes back to the 1982 Playboy "20 best party schools in the country" list. We at WSU were quite offended when we didn't appear on the list. Numbers 1 and 2 were U of Fl and Fl State. It wasn't until the last paragraph of the article that we got our pride back:
"Some of you may have noticed by their absence that WSU in Pullman WA and Univ of Idaho in Moscow ID were not listed in this top 20. That is because we at Playboy feel it would be unfair to rank professionals with amateurs."

Yah... I was burgled once. They didn't find the guns (thankfully) but they did take my 200 watt Carver Sonic Holography Amp, preamp, and Harmon Kardon tuner. Really ticked me off. Carver went O/B, so even though my insurance bought be a new system, it was Adcom, not Carver. It was good, but just never the same.
