Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Whew.... I slept in anyhow till 7:00 so Bay was not any happier with me for breakfast than he was at dinner.

I need to get some software testing done today. They are planning the release for next month, at which time the job will end, so better get in there and earn the money while I still can.

I got the back yard mowed!! woohooo!! All of it, except for the part that is on a slope and the part under the shade tree. That latter part is infested with moles and it's like trying to mow a pillow. Steve'll do it and be happy to, because I did ALL the REST!

Ringer Spy Elfstone dropped us a line about some new RoTK pictures that just popped up on Spanish LoTR site Elanillounico.com. These images have since been removed from their website and we were asked by the film-makers to remove them as well.

OOO! I like that color! I chose red cause the only choices in stock were the red, yellow and green. Walden makes a purple granite fade that is REALLY nice. I don't know if SSQ will want to be riding in a purple fade Cuda, though. Maybe he'll get the
orange/yellow .

The shock of a fast inject would be very brief, though..The shock may be brief, but the memory can last a LONG time. When our #2 son went in for his shots before entering Kindergarten, he asked specifically which shots he'd have to have in future years for school. The nurse was amused, but told him he wouldn't have to have any more before 7th grade. When she gave him the shot, she just walked up to him, and jabbed him in his leg. He screamed bloody murder right in her face. She was shocked (duh?), and looked at me like I was supposed to rebuke him or something. It was all I could do NOT to say, you deserved it, you hag!
All the way home, through his sniffles, he said how glad he was that it was 7 years before he had to have any more shots like that. As the years went on, he'd remind me of the incident and let me know how much time he had before the next one. When 7th grade came around, he was nervous, but got a sweet nurse that time, so it wasn't as traumatic!

We had a whopper of a thunderstorm yesterday afternoon. The bottom fell out just as I was dropping the kids off at the theater. I had to run in through it! While the movie was playing, you could hear the thunder outside!
I got the chance to mow the lawn on Monday just before the first wave of storms hit that night. When the rain stops later in the week, I'll put the weed and feed on it before the next wave of rain comes.
