Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

It's time for a contest involving the pirates now!!! I found out this evening that the local drive-in is showing a double feature tomorrow night, Finding Nemo and Pirates of the Caribbean!!! We're gonna load up a cooler with sodas, sandwiches and snacks and have us a good time! It's only $12 a carload, so that's only $3 for each of us for 2 movies!!

Glad your car troubles weren't major. When I took SSQ's 91 Crown Vic in for an oil change, and fluids check, we asked the mechanic for a prognosis. He said it was actually in very good shape. SSQ was pleased, I just said DANG, cause when his car dies, he's taking my van and getting me a NEW one!

he's taking my van and getting me a NEW one! That's be why the wife drives the 2001 mini-van and I drive the 95 Sable.
Or why the wife drove the 95 Sable and I drove the 86 Chevrolet.
Or why the wife drove the 86 Chevrolet and I drove the 84 Honda Civic...
You get the picture. Fer a while I also had an 83 Ford Ranger, but it finally died.
Last new car I had (one that was actually mine) was the 84 Honda.
