Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I still have to update it, but I am waiting until the answer comes in before I make a move.
Since my decision to relocate also has to be made, I don't know exactly where to send my resume to yet.

It's funny, I used to be up to my ears in washer/dryer setss..... I had a good set, dad had a good set, and I had inherited a set from Mom that was still new, and we all had to move into the beach house for the remodel. (The beach house also had a set, albeit an old one) So at our garage sale, we looked a bit like "Appliances R Us". I wish I could have shipped you one of those.... they were good deals for those who got them!

And I would have gratefully excepted! It's a sign of your good heart to wish I could have a dryer you had before you even knew me!
It'll work out. Towels and jeans still dry fine in the dryer, just knits get little holes torn in them...something is catching them, but I can't find what.
I don't mind the clothes line on the screened-in porch...kinda neat, I think, and nobody can see it.
I'll post a pic here in a sec and you'll see!
I'd put a clothes line outside, but we have this little gnat like things that bite and get in your clothes...they fall from the trees.

I have to decide whether or not to leave Miami. It has to be discussed with my mom since she owns the house, etc.
