Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Hi, all. Slow day? I had to go pick up my brother... drove halfway to Virginia and back after church. Now I'm exhausted. Plus the extended family is pulling more crap, so... oh well. I'm going away this week!

OT & Hair - yes, she was a fine actress, guess my favorite was the "African Queen".
Got a nice rain going on, bit of thunder and lighting, but chores all done, hmm. one of the basil plants is on the rear deck, so near yet so far. lol.
Hair: 'The Grove' is looking really nice, and the perfect setting for telling stories by campfire light.
Got a kick out of the comments on the Tree Cutting thread, "It's a freaking park-sheesh. whine- those trees spoil my view- There are supposed to be trees in a park" lol.

I am hoping 'The Grove' gets the rain it needs.... that grass is pretty brittle and dry.... I am temped to go buy 200 feet of hose and set a sprinkler if rain doesn't come soon to green it up!
