The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I have probably seen 5-6 of them this afternoon and I otherwise never see them here. Don't know why.

Vapors? That's so positively Victorian!
Well, it's Friday... we're going to a baseball game tomorrow, that should be fun. It's been ages. And I have a million things I need to do tomorrow if I'm leaving town for next weekend. And my writing is coming really nicely, if only I was skilled enough to do a couple scenes justice I'd be really happy.

That is probably the first time I have ever used the word "vapors".
What kind of baseball game? - pros? - small town? little league?

Oh, the real thing! Pirates game, tomorrow at the lovely new Pittsburgh stadium. They're not a very good team, but who really cares?

Maybe you had a nest of eggs that hatched recently close by.

Doesn't it? - I was actually really *wowed* by those shots of the Paths of the Dead.... but that story seems to be lost to the vapors.... ;~D

Not to mention corrupted Faramir Oh, yes... I didn't care for that either.
Heh....my cousin calls him the Schmuck of Gondor.

I must have had some hatch around here.... after that frog and now snakes, I felt a little like I was being hit by plagues of vermin!

You know, some days FR ticks me off, and some days it's just fun watching the meltdown.
