Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

We really are! - I think we will have to talk a mile a minute at Entmoot... - Heh.... or we will have nothing to say and we will go to the library and log in here! - HA! Doubt it!

hair; right you are, good memory, the right arm and hand were working good enough to type with both hands, couldn't stand not posting any longer, lol. The typing and the hobbit hole was great therapy.
CS: you are right about that. Congrats on the double credit. That's another miracle.

Excellent work, glad to see it up and running. Need to fletch some more arrows. I'll take a mug of tea at the table by the window. Need good light to bind the fletching

I know it's hard to believe right now, but chances are real good Bay is going to be just fine. If he's strolling around the pasture picking out the choice clover and tender grasses, he's probably feeling great and enjoying the spring weather.
All it takes now is patience - my mare was a bit "off", not really lame, last fall and we mucked around with this and that until the glucosamine and chondroitin (or just time and Mother Nature) cleared it up. I spent a couple weeks massaging and soaking her legs (which made me feel better as I was DOING something) and worrying, but she's fine now.
I have GOT to get to bed - my dog is whining to go out and everybody else is already upstairs . . . good night, all!

Hi ya'll! I'm back. Did you miss me? I missed you. I'm on a dial-up ISP with a fixed amount of hours per month --- and I ran out!!!!
So, ummm, now, I waited till I could call in to the school's server and get back here. How weird.
I know, everybody's going to bed now. But, I just wanted to jump in because I could.

I'm not going to bed yet! It is only 8:22 and it is Friday night. woo hoo.
To: HairOfTheDog
I'm going to try to stay awake longer....AMC is showing Christopher Lee as Dracula at 1:00. I don't really expect to see the whole thing. :)
To: HairOfTheDog
I'm just glad I found my work-around for ISP. I should have thought of this earlier. Did I miss anything radical?

Wish I could watch AMC and see Dracula. But, instead am watching my kid search for the passport she kept assuring me she had.

Did I miss anything radical? Couple of near-death experiences and some hauntings.

Good night OT! - Thanks for keeping Frodo company!

I'm getting antsy. She keeps saying, I know I put it in here. I've been telling her for 2 weeks to get this stuff together. The passport has been here since February. She told me she put it in the file folder called "Myranda." It's large. She is searching..........

If he's strolling around the pasture picking out the choice clover and tender grasses, he's probably feeling great and enjoying the spring weather.I hope you are right. I see photos like this one when he was goofin' off just the other day, and I don't see a lame horse.

Aren't they stunning? They guilted me into cleaning off my desk, they looked too pretty to be sitting in the middle of a mess!
To: HairOfTheDog
Not only are the Rhodys stunning right now (the purple and lavender hues are out), but it's also really good for the bush to be pruned. A win win!
