Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Do you want us to tell you how to find home-pages, or would you like to investigate this for yourself? do ya mind tellin' me? You know, I have learned an aweful lot this week though already! and they say old dogs can't learn new tricks.

Click on anyone's name to get to a profile page, and there is a box up in the corner where you can type in the name of another page you want to go to.
To: RosieCotton
I enjoy raucus music from time to time. ;) Most especially on dreary days like today. *turns the volume up a bit*
To: RosieCotton; Wneighbor
the red snakeskins. Cool. very cool.
To: Wneighbor
Cool!
To: HairOfTheDog
I have a sort of open question/comment based on the reports about the ending of ROTK. Should that be here, or in the spoiler thread -- and if the latter, would you pls. remind me of the link?
Thanks!

Dreary is part of cyberpunkCyberpunk is too....dreary. When I want dreary I'll watch network news. :)
I was into it when he got to .....where ever Elrond was. Then commercials happened and I started multitasking and never really got back into the story after that.
To: RosieCotton; Lil'freeper
....and I don't like rock music. I'd rather listen to a garbage disposer chew up glass.

There are a few people on this thread avoiding spoilers, so just to be on the safe side, here is the spoiler thread link!
Return of the King Spoilers thread (ongoing)
It is also at the top of my profile page if you lose track of it again!
To: HairOfTheDog
Yeah... but what if I lose track of YOU?
JK; thanks, going there now.

I'd rather listen to a garbage disposer chew up glass. Or boots in the dryer?

I enjoy raucus music from time to time. ;) Most especially on dreary days like today. *turns the volume up a bit* ME TOO!!!
The kind that makes you not want to sit still!
but then, most of the time I like the quiet with no noise and only wind. the wind is blowing nicely this morning after a long rainstorm last night.
What do ya'll think? I'm exhausted. I got dehydrated yesterday and am still pumping in fluids. I'm sunburned. Some body parts are protested due to overuse in the last could of days. (knees, feet, vocal chords) I think I ought to treat myself to some cookies! I just thought of that, exhaustion must have zapped me more than I thought.
To: RosieCotton
NOTE TO SELF: at entmoot don't play music in room with OT and Rosie.
So, do ya'll like country music........... *slams door to avoid boots and dishes thrown*
To: Wneighbor
I think cookies would be a good cure for what ails you!
To: RosieCotton
Or boots in the dryer? You know, sometimes those boots get to going just right in the dryer and they have a great beat to them!!!
To: Wneighbor; Overtaxed
So, do ya'll like country music...........*slams door to avoid boots and dishes thrown* Actually, I do like some...not a lot of the newer stuff, but older stuff, sure.
And I like bluegrass and old time!
I think OTs musical tastes are more upscale than mine... ;-)
To: Wneighbor
thum-bump, thum-bump, thum-bump.
To: Wneighbor
So, do ya'll like country music........... Love it, so long as I have a partner who can lead a good swing.
To: Lil'freeper
I have never danced with a guy that knew how to lead in the swing, so I don't know how to follow.
