Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

It's not about censorship as it is about courtesy.
If a friend tells me she doesn't like to talk about roses, I will not bring up that subject around her simply out of love and respect.
Now, as far as spam goes...we all spam, we love to spam, it's a tradition to spam for the Precious, but it shouldn't become ridiculous or abusive so as to avoid it becoming an issue at all.

Looks like Frodo had a great adventure in the nation's Capitol! Neat pictures! You should have gotten one with Frodo and the girls! Big'ol had control of the camera- I was trying to keep FFrodo from falling over into a puddle. Next time perhaps. Still have a few stops on the list...
today is very windy and not at all good for cardboard standees.

:-( We don't have a Verizon deal here. We can choose from AT&T, Sprint or USCellular. When there aren't as many companies - you can't get those big time deals. Mine is okay though. It's 2 phones, 600 anytime minutes, 3000 night and weekend for $70/month. I got it shortly after we moved here so Myranda could keep in touch with her friends at home. That seemed like plenty of minutes. (still seems like more than enough to me) And yet, she has been known to overuse in talking to those friends back home. So, she gets the occasional lecture on watching her minutes. Of couse, yesterday was just "I'm trying to watch the minutes Mom."
The fact that I override all minutes does not occur to her.
