The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!
Posted on 12/17/2002 7:32:02 AM PST by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Thanks... but, too. Um. Not quite right. It needs to be a very strong name. Think of a character something like Eowyn.

Next time Frodo travels, you might consider USPS Priority Mail. I've sent standees bigger than him for less than $15 (usually about $8 or $9), and Priority Mail strives for 2-3 day delivery.
To: SuziQ
Well, the USPS delivers it, right with my mail...I assume it's included in the charge for the Priority Mail service.
You can go to the post office and pick them up, but since I needed so much, this was just the way to go! And with every order, it gives me another order blank so i can order more if I need it, which is a good thing cause I nearly ran out of customs slips anyway!

Maybe Washington State is really Valinor? Washington State is definitely not Valinor! I have briefly lived there. And as an elf I can certify that it is NOT the place.

Hi all. I'm back. I didn't see anything radical happening on my comments page. Unless I can count that Corin apparantly saw an elf-mate for me and didn't go up and ask if he was available to an elf in Texas.

If someone looks gay, but isn't...they're an elf. However, if they look gay and ARE gay, they aren't?Well, anyway, the last half of that statement is certainly true.

Feed beans to the dwarves at your own risk... We can just send them out to the beach if things get too, um, aromatic! I was thinkin' we could just start an elf swoon. They'd leave the room then.

The state government is a little liberal, but I don't bother them, and so far, they don't bother me. I don't mind our tax structure at all... We don't have a state income tax, only a sales tax. The goofy people... well, they are just goofy What else do you have to watch in the coffee shop if there are no goofy libs?

What else do you have to watch in the coffee shop if there are no goofy libs? you didn't factor in cheating abusing hubby.
and the fact that we did not live in a scenic area IMO. We lived in Kennewick. Blah.

Oh - you are right.... Kennewick is Blah. Eastern Washington is whole 'nother matter.
And cheating husbands I suppose could even spoil paradise.

That's great about the supplies. Sure makes it easy for you!
I talked to SSQ and he's not interested in Entmoot, but said "Have fun" for Clare and me, and possible Joseph! So we're IN for one of the rooms in the house if they haven't all been taken! Clare and I can share a bed and Joseph can sleep on the floor, if he decides to come.
So, to whom do I send a check for the deposit?
To: SuziQ
WOO HOO!
Ksen is the money man!

To: SuziQ
I am so glad you are gonna make it!
