The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Campbell Brown is flaberghasted that Pres. Bush doesn't get his news from 'the news'!There was another news chick down the row from her who was incensed that Pres. Bush did not watch the bombardment of Baghdad on the TV. She said something like "You mean he ordered it, but won't watch what he'd put into action?" Ari just looked at her and said something like "The President knows how serious his decisions are, he doesn't need to watch the tv to understand the results."
Makes you want to slap some of those folks, doesn't it?

They had 24 bottles of COPPERTONE SPF 40 sunscreen for 74 cents each!! I purchased them all. Is that ok?Woo Hoo!! 2J, Master Shopper!!! Way to go; what a great deal!

Makes you want to slap some of those folks, doesn't it? Like I said to Lil' freeper on another thread...We ship 80 gazillion tons of firepower and the mediots think we can't sneak in one video camera.
You know, we have the potential to gain so much from this war...
- Saddam is eliminated, or at least removed from power.
- The U.N. gets the boot from the U.S.
- And the mediots finally realize we're not listenting to them anyway...
It's a trifecta!

Thank you!
I managed to get the entire batch of sunscreen in one box...except for two. So that's 30 bottles of sunscreen going out. I'll put the other two bottles in baggies and ship it out with the entertainment.
The box weighs 18lbs 12oz (approx, according to my antique baby scale which was right on target with the last four boxes). Should cost around $24.30 to ship.
Picture of sunscreen...

Now this stuff is SPF 40 and is for Kids...it comes out purple but rubs in clear...that shouldn't matter...should it? Once it's rubbed in, you can't tell it was ever purple!

Thanks! I'm pretty proud right now.
See the picture up above? The orange is the stuff I got the other day. There are 8 of them and 22 of the purple in the box.

Is that ok? I think we're all in agreement 2J. If you think it's a good deal and the right thing...so do we.
I really appreciate how you are being so accountable to us. But I want you to know I trust you completely.
I know whatever you send will be just right. Thanks for letting me be part of it.

Suzi...I never heard anything from paypal from you...I'm worried about it...I don't want it to have gotten lost...Don't worry! I'll check it out in just a few minutes. I'll send you a check tomorrow, and won't worry about trying the Pay Pal thing again.
To: 2Jedismom
Once it's rubbed in, you can't tell it was ever purple!I've gotten that for us to use! I'll bet the soldiers will get a kick out of rubbing on purple sunscreen!
To: SuziQ
I'm just getting inundated with funding (praise God) and I just don't want something to slip through the cracks...so far so good. I've kept every receipt...

I just checked the PayPal Acct. and there is nothing in the Account History, so I guess whatever I did didn't 'take'. That makes it easier. I'll just send a check tomorrow!

Thanks Corin...I know. I just want to be very careful and also make you guys proud of me! LOL When I get a good buy like that sunscreen (after it was specifically asked for and I couldn't find it), well...I'm pretty happy and want to share it with you all...
Ok, Suz...I won't worry about it anymore.
Whew! LOL
I'm compiling a list of things (besides the books and movies) that I want to get this next time. I'll share it later...when I can think straight.

It's a trifecta! More than that even, we're going to be able to collect a lot of data on our systems performance as well as the enema's systems- most of which are French or Russian. Big time coup for the intel and R&D communities.

Enema is kind of a mispronounciation of enemy. Both are a nuisance.
Is this like the cow fart study?
More like studying iraqi tactical flatulance. Their defenses just went ppppppbbbbuuttt. ;o)
