Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Good morning...

Had to relate a goofy bit of business regarding the Ditzy Chicks controversy... Rose and I listen to a country station here in Austin almost exclusively. They have a 5-hour show on Saturday mornings dedicated only to "old" country, they don't play any songs younger than 20 years old, and most of what they play is from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. The host this morning had to twice ask on the air for people to stop calling him and telling him not to play any Ditzy Chicks... he had to point out to these people who supposedly listen all the time, that he has *never* played Ditzy Chicks on his show, they don't have any songs old enough for him to play!

People are funny.

I made Clare late for Stagecrew this morning so she could help me do 2J's greeting. I had bookmarked the HTML bootcamp, but had never learned how to do those things. I think it's cool I was able to do all of that in one swell foop!!

Thank you very much! I'm baking bread in my new bread machine and the boys are all out washing the car. It's a gorgeous day, 75 degrees last time I checked. We'll sure get the pump hooked up to the well today and I can more easily water the garden.
