Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

The only disruption was Steve scratching his beard right by my only good ear. An infrequent lurker here.
Speaking of good ear, Mrs. don-o has some hearing loss. She knows the stories well, but mentioned only being able to catch about 1/3 of the dialog.
She is asking if the script is avilable yet. My search is fruitless. But, if it is out there, I reckon this is the place to find it.

That is true.....I find that I can't really go back and remember things from it without someone else mentioning something. That will certainly improve after today ;)
I did love the "You look terrible" line. Did you think of it as an inside joke like I did? That was a running joke between the two actors....

I think it was a running joke not only between them, but with the fan base as well. I am glad PJ took the humor risks... Humor is hard to do right when the subject matter is as loved as this is. But I think he made the same jokes we would have made.
