Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Good morning!
My tummy is not feeling too good today which has me worried since my nephew is at the doctor's right now with a very nasty stomach flu. Added to those worries is the fact that he has been hanging around Becky and Alyson before the flu made itself known, so there is no telling if my girls will come down with it. Becky I'm not too worried about. It's Alyson that has me sweating! Infants with vomiting and diarrhea MUST go to the doctor to avoid dehydration. *sigh*
Anyhow, lemme get breakfast on the table. Fried eggs and bacon, buttered toast and sausage patties. Hash browns and biscuits are on the right by the condiments. Coffee is ready, but I'm helping myself to some juice instead. ENJOY!

Good morning. I hope your stomach queasiness is just "psychological", (even though I do think that most words with the word-part "psycho" in it are collective loads of crap.)

Ok...I'm in a really bad mood because I haven't had my coffee yet. I have to rant about a couple of things.
1. On my way into work today (694W) there was a banner hanging from a bridge that said "Stop Global Warming/Don't Buy Exxon Oil/GREENPEACE". Yeah, so they hang that up in frigid Minnesota winter weather. IDIOTS
2. OK let me get this straight....they nominate a child rapist for Best Director, but don't nominate Peter Jackson. That totally makes sense.
3. They had BETTER give Jackson his due with ROTK or so help me. And if crap like The Hours (grant it, I haven't seen it but I read the complete movie spoiler on it) wins over TTT, heads will roll.
That is all...I'm off to get my caffeine now.
