Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Well, that is a plus for being a Texican dwarf. Although, maybe we have more than I think here. You know, everything is bigger in Texas. Therefore, the only way we could know if we had a dwarf is if we see his snowpants!

Well, I have no idea when I'll be back, but if I'm not back all weekend, don't panic! LOL Steve is cracking down still on the computer...so I doubt I'll even get my coffee freep in. sigh.

If I don't come in before Monday...expect me when you see me. If we have an emergency...I'll check in if possible or I'll get in touch with someone if that's not possible. Probably Hair.

Hello everyone! - Scott and his lovely wife have come and gone, we had a really nice time talking, and I gave him some cookies to take home.

Scott... I am such a terrible host! I said I would order a pizza, and we just talked and talked and I plumb forgot! As soon as they left I said "Doh! - I forgot to feed the guests!"

Anyway, a good time was had by all I think! We didn't really watch any movies, and it is so cold out that the idea of riding was sortof delayed till another day.

And Scott's wife would like to get a gun, so I do hope that we can get together again very soon and go shooting! Lets do that soon Scott! I checked the schedule, and it is open weekends only now... Saturday and Sunday 12-5 and it costs $6.

HA! - Scott's male Dalmation "Chance" felt a bit outnumbered and trapped behind enemy lines, so he was kinda on edge. What he didn't know was that Logan is too old to worry much about masculine posturing and sortof walked around oblivious to the whole game. Chance and Gidget would have tangled if we let them, but no blood was drawn, so the day was a success! Scott's dogs are beautiful. Real Dalmations are so flashy even compared to Gidget.

You were a fine host...considering the guest had to constantly run out the house to talk with his attorney -- and then had to run off early to go and finish the first phase of this nasty business! Tummy is growling right now though, so don't mention pizza anymore ;-}

We had quite a bit of fun with the multispecies aspect of our ultraminimoot. Mr. Chance was quite a pill now, wasn't he?

We will do it again in a more relaxed (at least on my account) situation.

It is over now, and I simply must look to my own future and nothing else anymore. That in itself is nice, if a tad daunting. I think I'll take a week to do nothing but decompress and then...hit the road looking for remunerative employment. And the one thing on my mind is that those ORCs running my old place of employment are now forever in my past. For that, I am intensely thankful.

Heh... The cat hid under the bed in the spare bedroom. He only came out about 30 min ago!

The pony ran around a little to entertain the guests, and Bay was a good gentleman.
