Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Am I responding to the wrong thing? I am looking at their online page, and the Capitol Forest closures are the top story on the local. I thought that was what you were talking about! I don't have the actual paper!

I know Hair's! Shocked the shoes off her one day...LOL! You and shoes... Were they Chuck Taylors?
Guess what? The guy who's selling the purty mando has had an ad up on the biggest mando site for a month now, and hasn't had much luck (except my borrowing it over and over...) I posted an ad two days ago, one guy is having me hold it for him until tonight to see if he can arrange a local pick-up, and three other people are waiting in line in case he doesn't take it! And I set the price higher than I thought I would actually get! I'm amazed...dumb luck, but it's very cool.Took the other one to our practice tonight and played with it "plugged in". The rest of the group LOVED it.

When is this moot going to be and where is it going to be at? Well, we aren't really the hasty types. We just started talking about this "for real" yesterday. Although ksen has been lobbying us.
I think you and OT are the furthest north and south.

OK then, how's this. I send you an airhorn outfitted with a remote control trigger (battery operated of course) that I set to go off just before smoke signals are transmitted.
According to the number of "toots", it will indicate north, south, east or west!
