Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Hi... thank goodness it's Friday, otherwise I'd be ready to kill. Now I have 60 hours free before I work again!

Yes! Thank goodness it's Friday. There was a wreck on the interstate this morning and I was late getting in to work. So I'm rushing to catch up when.....oh yeah! Someone's "Farewell Luncheon". So we're going to the restaurant when.....traffic is backed up on the interstate again! I wish people would learn to drive for heaven's sake.

Anyway this afternoon I'm behinder, but lunch was good. (they had cheesecake and creme brulee for dessert) I have to finish up Friday's work on Monday. Stopped to get some Bailey's (MMmmmmm hot chocolate tonight). Now I've got my new speakers hooked up to the DVD player. I'm going to watch FOTR and then maybe have some cookies afterwards.

Greetings all; returned from a journey to east (okay, just as far as St. Louis) no Freerepublic or Stickbow, looks like a lot of catching up to do; I'll just hang the quiver on chair back and put the bow on the pegs. Glad to be back and hear all the goings on.

Sounds like shoes are the topic, red, white, and blue theme, my boots are either black or brown, and shoes are either black or brown, guess that qualifies as theme anyway.
