Attorneys filing this kind of nonsense should be fined, disbarred, and in egregious cases impaled. However, some pro se plaintiffs are genuinely insane ("barking mad"), and need to be steered or dragged into treatment.

When I first ran across that case a while back, I went and looked it up on LEXIS. Apparently she wasn't satisfied with the District Court's reasoning, since she immediately appealed to the 2'nd Circuit. For some reason - go figure ;) - they let the lower judge's ruling stand...
