Glad to see kassie back and posting. I spent 10 days without electricity a couple years ago, and understand the primitive methods necessary those unable to find a hotel room are enduring.

More Christmas preps on the agenda here, today. I leave on a business trip on Tuesday so whatever is going to be done for Christmas needs to be done today.

Also, last night, I was half asleep with the TV on, but I thought the DC Gang....Kondracke, Barnes...etc., were panning Terrell for her campaign ads....

...one in particular had a voice sounding like Clinton (but wasn't)....praising the merits of Landrieu, as he highlighted her liberal policies....

...I guess it backfired, but I couldn't tell from the discussion.

A special note to our FL FReepers ~~~ Friday evening we saw a whole fleet of power trucks ..... from Florida! They had come to help get people's lights back on. We sure were glad to see them! Next time you see someone from FPL, thank them for us.

Poor hubby......I was suppose to help in church nursery today.....he's going to try to fill-in if they need him.

Here I am home sick, and I sooooo wanted to be in that nursery this AM & grab a baby & a rocking chair, and catch up on cuddle time :(
