Happy Friday!! I'm all excited.. for the past week we have been tiling our livingroom. It's been a REAL learning experience (more like tile and error LOL)..It's really starting to look good now and I got the hang of it. I think I can now officially change my name to Bec Vila

I know what you're going through! Lst winter my husband & I tore out the carpet in the front half the house & put in a floating laminate floor! Took a couple weeks, but it looks great!

Wow. Tiling your living room... I'm impressed! The best we could do was with those sticky tiles - the thin kind you just peel off the paper and stick down - in our kitchen. (Hey, we were on a strict budget, and those tiles can look nice, if you do it right). 90% through it, we realized we needed more tile, but the store had run out of stock, and - get this - the color and style had been discontinued by the manufacturer. So, for a few years, our kitchen tile stopped just before the counter. Ahem... since then, we've paid a contractor to retile the kitchen in ceramic. Tiling... apparently not our area of expertise. ;)
