This is our own corner of Free Republic where homeschoolers can discuss what curriculum we use, vent when needed, share our successes, compare notes, alert each other to things we find on the internet, and vent some more.

I take it you are from AZ?
FYI:I hope you are aware of Tom Horne's stand on homeschooling. He favors more control while Blanchard (yes, the democrat) says we should be left alone.

Yes, I'm from Arizona. I'm pretty unhappy with Tom Horne but I don't trust Blanchard to maintain his stance after the election. At least Mr. Horne is up front about how he stands. We have aready had to do the CPS two-step due to our homeschooling so not much can rock our boat. Got to run to a doctor's appointment. Will check back later.

I emailed Mr. Blanchard about homeschooling and he said that since homeschoolers are taxpayers and are taking it upon themselves to educate their own children, then they deserve to be left alone. I emailed Mr. Horne but his reply was exactly what was printed in the AZ Rag.
