Well, congrats to ya!
Although I have to say, there's really no such thing as a "lock" in college football any more.

My Oh My, to be strolling College Avenue tonight! Some of the most fun I've ever had has been after a big win in football, in September, at the 'Skeller (then on to the frathouses two blocks away... dang I'm waxing nostalgic). I really loved college at Penn State. What an outstanding place to be!

Wow. And Penn State is a mediocre Big Ten team.

Beautiful.
Here's hoping the warden of the Free Shoes U. penitentiary never passes Joe Pa.

Hey, look at how those goofy Huskers are bringing down our strength of schedule.
Now if you Ags will just put a whuppin' on VA Tech, that would be sweet.
Another rough week for the SEC.

The Buckeyes didn't look to shabby either. Too bad Michigan didn't take care of business.

No kidding, Michigan was the dissappointment of the day.
Nevada had a nice upset over BYU, went down to the final play.

Yeah, and Washington State had beaten them 31-7.

It appears to be a bad day all around for high-ranked teams. Next week's poll should be interesting. It's funny, but in two years of grad school at Penn State, I never made it to a game. Still, State College was a fun place to be in the fall.

Wow. And Penn State is a mediocre Big Ten team. ROFLMAO............

Huh? Only Ohio State is looking better in the Big 10. Yes, Michigan did ok with a tough schedule, but they blew today's game and were lucky to win against UW. Gonna have to get more consistent.

Who'd have thunk it!!!???Willie Green'd have thunk it.

Going into the weekend, Michigan, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Michigan State were all ranked more highly than Penn State. Penn State has struggled since joining the Big Ten, dropping three or four conference games a year for the past half dozen years. Congrats to Penn State. Great win. Shows how tough the Big Ten is and how bad Nebraska is in comparison.

Good grief, that's absolutey pathetic.
Please have the courtesy to post a ***BARF ALERT*** before informing me of something like that.

Agree with that assessment of recent Penn State teams, but this year they look better(not gonna argue that they are top 10, but top 25 makes sense). I forgot about Wisconsin. But the Big 10 also has mediocre recent history, and MSU's loss today didn't help any. Northwestern, Illinois, and Iowa are stinking up the joint.
Actually the Pac10 has come out looking the best so far(its early, though). I'm still hoping for no undefeated teams, and a dozen one loss big programs. Further expose how fradulent the BCS is. College football picks its champs the way Florida Democrats pick theirs.

Which ranked SEC team lost this week (that wasn't playing another SEC team)?

Don't forget the Big East...
