In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....

You must be right about the luck on the chicken - because I can cook pretty much about anything as well!!!
Garlic bread is real easy.
Take one loaf of French or Italian bread slice it ALMOST all the way through.
Depending on the size of the loaf cut up one to one and a half sticks of butter into a bowl and mince up the amount of garlic you like (I use 2 tablespoons to 1 stick of butter). Melt and mix the butter and garlic in microwave.
smear it on the loaf - wrap loaf in foil - stick it in the oven at 350 for about 15-20 minutes.

We do our best, sweetness.

Thanks.... I understand the theory.
It's just that, invariably, I burn it into charcoal.
The solution has been to have my daugher (or anyone else available) cook it.

I couldn't have done the church thing today, for the same reason I wouldn't watch the TV coverage today. Can't and won't. May record it but I am not watching it now.

LOL!!!
Gravy was my mother's thing - I ALWAYS had to make it, and if I wasn't around she used canned.
The secret to garlic bread is to put it into a hot oven after you've got all the main things already finished. Those things will hold for the time it takes for the bread to toast up.

You and your cohorts on this thread have been baiting me, --- dispite having been told to stop at #256. I stopped at that point for quite a while. - You did not. You are such a jerk. You continue to point to a post and say No No don't continue but you continue to do so as if if have some right. Flake off jerk, for you are a flake and a jerk.
To: SeaDragon; All
Cool it. I told tpaine to stay off this thread and he has complied so far. Do not be calling him back here.
To: Admin Moderator
If you say that he will not return to our thread then I will be happy. I have no desire to have contact with him.
