You must be right about the luck on the chicken - because I can cook pretty much about anything as well!!!

Garlic bread is real easy.

Take one loaf of French or Italian bread slice it ALMOST all the way through.

Depending on the size of the loaf cut up one to one and a half sticks of butter into a bowl and mince up the amount of garlic you like (I use 2 tablespoons to 1 stick of butter). Melt and mix the butter and garlic in microwave.

smear it on the loaf - wrap loaf in foil - stick it in the oven at 350 for about 15-20 minutes.

Thanks.... I understand the theory.

It's just that, invariably, I burn it into charcoal.

The solution has been to have my daugher (or anyone else available) cook it.
