How is it that people get attacked by groups here on FR? I've been active for years now. On rare occasions and only when richly earned, I have gone after specific individuals who are -- in my judgment -- either as bigoted as the day is long, or as dumb as a box of rocks.

Back have come occasional individual flames, but never a group attack. Who do I have to offend to get a time-out around here? Not that I want one, just that I want to understand the process.

Group attacks have been around since the inception. The Coven, the WOD's, the Church Ladies, the Guild, The Keyesians, the Tobacco Nazis, the Joohaters, the Cop Killers, the Kooks, etc. Now we have the Ashcroft Junior Rangers. It's part of the whole internet scene.

CB, you're just not the kind of poster that people attack. You are usually working on some big project and supplying us with some sort of inside knowledge.

For example: You were a great source and support on the CFR issue. While you went on to work out a legal strategy against it, some of us who do not have your connections were left here to complain about the Bush betrayal. The Bushbots got mean. Then there were more betrayals and we kept complaining. Keep in mind big conservative minds like George Will, Wesley Pruden, Rush Limbaugh, etc...were complaining too. But on FR, there was a crowd that would not hear of it. They attacked any conservative who did not conform. I tired of it. Some people were run off.

I am sure the stories vary, but that's my general take on the most recent conflicts.

Same here, bro. I've never said a nice thing about Bush, I haven't said a nice thing about the GOP in prolly two years, I am rabidly anti-WOD, and I've been known to post comments whose content may be deemed rated NC-17.

What do I do to get banned (some have tried), and who do I gotta sleep with to get a drink aound here?
