can we talk? i am having problems with the polish peeling right off, like within a day. i do wear gardening gloves and do not have my hands in water much at all. she re-did it this past Saturday and already it is peeling. it doesn't look hideous bc i do the french manicure, but this is ridiculous. i really like her and she does an otherwise excellent job. any ideas?

I can see where sticking to the cushion would be annoying.

"This is the latest in a continuing pattern of incomprehensible and irresponsible actions where Zimmerman has misused his office." Clancy noted that in October 2001, a month after 9/11, on a day of a terrorist alert, Zimmerman, in an apparent pique of anger over not being invited to a memorial service at the Pentagon, threatened to terminate Arlington County's fire and emergency rescue support for the Pentagon. Several months later Board Chairman Zimmerman was asked by military veterans to follow the lead of the Arlington School Board and open County Board meetings with the Pledge of Allegiance as a show of support for our troops in Afghanistan. Inexplicably, Zimmerman rebuked the veterans and denied their request, calling their request "cheap" and stating that the Pledge was "divisive" in multicultural Arlington.

OMG he needs the crap beat outta him! Arlington is not far from me.

A thin coat of acrylic over the nail will keep the polish on. Except where you WEAR it away, but according to my manicurist, no one except me does that.

Yuck, what a menace that Zimmerman is. Sometimes I wonder how some people survive when they don't demonstrate enough brains to breathe!

this is peeling from underneath, she puts a hardening coat on first then the pink then the white tip then the overcoat. it is not wearing away, it is literally lifting off in a sheet.

How awful.... I have acrylics, not because my own nails need help, but just because the polish stays on. I'd have to re-do polish daily without the acrylic, simply because I'm so hard on it. I don't know... I just never have any problems.
