In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
probity\'prO-b&-tE \, n:
1.adherence to the highest principles and ideals
2.Complete and confirmed integrity
He was a gentlemanly Georgian, a person of early American probity (Mary McGrory).

In a Clintonesque way, President Bush is beginning to cleave the American public into two uneasy halves--opponents fulminating at his attempts to bamboozle, and supporters chuckling at his vanity. I don't know that I agree, but it is really funny to see Daschle frustrated, especailly knowing that he's going to lose the Senate thanks to the voters of his home state. Go Thune Go.

There's Nobody with Probity (Ode to the Dems)There's nobody with probity
No, no dems that I know
Everything about them is appalling
All they do is lie and cheat and gloat
Their attitude's alarming and so galling
When they are stealing that extra vote
There's no liars like dem liars
They smile, but they are low
Daschle, Gephardt, Clinton, Torch and Teddy, too
They shouldn't even be the leaders of a zoo
By First Amendment Rights I'd tell them all, "F**K You"
Just go, losers, just go
Just go, losers, just go

Any truth to the rumor that they are renaming it Taliban and Jerry's? I heard they are trying to break into the Muslim market. Of course to make it sell "Cherry Garcia" is sold over there as "72 Virgin Suprise"

Not a lot. Someone over at Loser's Paradise seems to think that someone posting over there is really me. Funny.
To: lds23
he really came off like a goofball, but infuriated me nonetheless.

it must be gratifying to be so important that losers devote time and energy to wondering where you are, what you are doing and who you might be masquerading as! on the other hand, i kind of like being a nonentity!

Anyone who has ever seen a crawfish shy away from a threat knew what the president meant. The problem is the city boys view of wildlife is toothless lions in the zoo, raining pigeons, and rats the size of alley cats.
There is something about crawfish
That is they make a tasty dish
Boil them to cook
When red they look
Tear the tail and the head do kiss.

Anyone who has ever seen a crawfish shy away from a threat knew what the president meant. We used to catch them in the creek. They'd backtrack back into the cup and be caught. Not the brightest creatures.

Well, I guess I'm almost famous with those guys. I dunno why.
