This is our own corner of Free Republic where homeschoolers can discuss what curriculum we use, vent when needed, share our successes, compare notes, alert each other to things we find on the internet, and vent some more.

Why don't you turn this thread into a curriculum? I'd be happy to post some legal related exercises (in whatever format). I'm sure the computer folks would do the same. Perhaps the science types could come up with some lab exercises. Who knows!

Great idea! Since this is a daily thread, though (to keep it short), maybe post those to the most recent ongoing thread (linked at the top of every daily thread.)

I've suggested to JimRob that FR have a Classical Education project. Older material (i.e. before foundations and the NEA and compadres really screwed up the textbooks) are public domain (basically anything prior to 1923). I've gone looking for some older textbooks, and I've found a few that are good. For instance, Walter K. Fobe's "Elocution Simplified," "Five-Minute Declamations," and "Five-Minute Readings" are excellent, concise material for practicing elocution.

Thanks. If anything like a curriculum project rears up here, let me know, in case I miss it.
