CA, I think there is a lot of stuff not being told, being lied about, being hidden. I'm afraid it's probably worse than any of us could imagine. It will probably never all come out. IMO, if there was any kind of relationship it was between DW and BvD. That's why Danielle's DNA AND the BLEACHED BLONDE HAIRS are in the RV.

Actually there are prints on entry and exit points the banister, Danielle's door frame and dresser. Then there is the DNA on her blanket. None of this has been identified other than to exclude David.

I don't think that Damon was jealous, because I think that it was Damon who was the real swinger, not Brenda. My guess is that Damon was encouraging the Westerfield/Brenda relationship because Brenda was not having such an easy time attracting the men in their groups.

Maybe Westerfield did stop by the house and Damon told him that Brenda was not back yet and offered him Danielle instead. Maybe Danielle was already dead. I don't know what the the truth is, but I do think that Damon is involved. That diary is just heart wrenching. Also, it is my guess that the diary is what the judge supressed and Feldman has only been able to hint at the abuse.

Well ... it's all such a sorted mess. And ... I do agree Damon could have offered his child - I'm not saying he did, but her begging pleas to her dad say something to me - she was not cooperating with what he wanted - what was it he wanted from her?? If we knew the answer to that question, we might know a lot more about the whole situation.

I agree that Brenda and Westerfield were a thing; much more than has been revealed.

I worked on a book (editing) by an incest survivor who finally took her father to court after she grew up. This is EXACTLY the kind of thing she'd write or say...she was obsessed, as a child, with pleasing her father in every way possible to keep him off her. The sadistic man would punish her for the slightest infraction of his arbitrary and ever-changing rules by raping her....it started on her first day of school, when she was six.

In that particular case, which became rather famous for awhile, the father could be brought to court years after the incest because he'd started again on one of his granddaughters, and that brave little kid testified and put him in jail.

Anyway, if Danielle wrote this "apology" in her diary, I'm convinced she was an incest victim. Actually, the first time I saw her photo, I got the impression that she was an abused child. Maybe Damon loaned her out to a friend, and the friend got rough. This is not a far-fetched idea. People like Damon do things beyond imagining.

Interesting statement. Can you imagine two pre-teen boys living next door to an unlocked motor home and not going inside to play or at least check it out? Or even to have a scuffle and leave blood on the floor? Has anyone quesitoned that? How close a DNA match would they be to Danielle?

Interesting that it took a foreign country to out the child rapists, instead of the San Diego PD, isn't it? And I wonder if Danielle will show up on their tapes as one of the children they raped?

I'm coming on this thread really late, but I want to say I absolutely agree with your opinion of Damon. You might be interested in my posts #1093 and 1095 further down this thread.

I wonder whether someone will start a FR jury thread so we can all pretend we're jurors and vote on verdict.

I'm not convinced that DW did it, not beyond reasonable doubt. But I think he'll be convicted anyway.
