In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....

Good Morning Class. Welcome to School!
Here is my example with WFTD.
Drudge told us: "This is a guy whose career is in turnaround, and his mind is not holding up well. I've never met Alec Baldwin. If he has fantasies about being cruised by guys . . . maybe he can star in 'Cruising Part 2: The Troll Years.' "
Alec Baldwin thinks hes truly great
Always taking opportunity to perorate
Drudge quite concisely
Insulted; not nicely
Baldwins cruising I dont think will abate!
Wife beater Baldwin
Perorational liar
Broke, so why sue him
OK, ALEC: PUT UP YOUR DUKES

Every day we shove and push
To be the first on the short bus
Xsmommy, hobbes and dubs
Wetbars, closets and beer tubs
If you really think youre strong
Maybe you can ride along
I dont want to cause no fuss
But here it is the new Short Bus!
Short bus, short BUS
Short bus, short BUS
Bet you things dont get too far
Before camles got a new cigar
Argh is running for his life
From ending up with the ex-wife
Gabz is getting far from fat
Swimming round in the beer vat
Therese no rules, and theres no muss
Ridin on this here Short Bus
Short bus, short BUS
Short bus, short BUS
Singing:
WotsamoddaU hey,
Gotta no respect, whatta you think you do,
Why you looka so sad?
It's-a not so bad, it's-a nice-a place,
Ah, Shaddap You Face.
Well, I dont know why I came here today
I got the feeling that things aint goin my way.
Im so scared in case I fall up the stairs
And that noise th only thing I can hear
Hobbes to the left of me, XS to the right,
Here I am, stuck in the closet with you.
Yes, Im stuck in thecloset with you,
And Im wondering what it is I should do.
Its so hard to setup Argh with my ex,
like some people only are about sex.
Hobbes to the left of me, XS to the right,
Here I am, stuck in the closet with you.
Well, you started off with learning,
And you find yer stomachs turnin man.
And your friends they all come crawlin,
Swim in the beer vat and say, Please, please.
Trying to make martinis for all,
But I can see nobodys drinkin at all.
Is it cool to go to chomp on a big cigar?.
Poor Gus is out polishing the car
Hobbes to the left of me, XS to the right,
Here I am, stuck in the closet with you.
Well, you started off with learning,
And you find yer stomachs turnin man.
And your friends they all come crawlin,
Swim in the beer vat and say, Please, please.
Well, I dont know why I came here today
I got the feeling that things aint goin my way.
Im so scared in case I fall off the stairs
And that noise th only thing I can hear
Hobbes to the left of me, XS to the right,
Here I am, stuck in the closet with you.
Yes Im, stuck in the closet with you,
Stuck in the closet with you,
Here I am, stuck in the closet with you.

Those who ignor history tend to repeat it, particularly it's mistakes.
In an effort to balance budgets, and get more smokers to quit smoking state and local governments across the nation have recently jacked cig taxes into the stratosphere in many locales.
The laws of unintended conseqences and the example of Prohibition should have been enough of a warning that it won't work. So of course the perorations of these same greedy governments begins in earnest, and the tarket of their rantings, Cigarette smuggling!!!!!!!!
