OK, here's a parenting issue I'm facing right now.

My girls are 20 (21, March 11), 19 (20 April 5th) and 16. The 16 year old will be gone on vacation with her dad. (no way would the following situation happen if she was home, we aren't planning on telling her either, at this time).

We live out in the country. (no neighbors but cows and corn) My two older girls want to have a bon fire party with their friends. It will be a beer party. The rules are, drop your keys in a bucket, and spend the night. They can pitch tents and sleep over. They have a great circle of friends. I've met 80% of them and they are good, deceint kids. My husband is having a cow about it. When I was young, the drinking age was 18. Should we do this? I have confidence in my girls, they are, for the most part, good kids (now that they aren't 15). What would everyone here do? Should we do it or should we say 'no way'?????
