What's depressing is that those type people have access to our youth. (sigh)

Oh very clever!

With all respects and attribution to dubya for this:
Sapphic Scandal
Seductress sallied to sick sentiment and secretively sought schoolgirl sex, simulating sixteen's satyriasis. Said scandalous scheme scotched, sequelate sentence seeks salacious sister's salvage: self-segregating (semi-sequestering) sanctions sans sordid satiety in suborned seraglio.

Can't you work from home everyday How I wish! If I could, I sure wouldn't be living in the People's Soviet of Washington near by Sodom on the Sound. (Talk about bureaucratic Hell! -- though the climate and scenery are nice.)

Our previous classroom was understandably deserted yesterday, but some of you might be interested in
this post (reply # 412) that I plastered all over the joint re The Battle Hymn of the Republic.

Ah Hah! A word, a word, my computer for a word. But.. Robert... it's only Friday and that's a Satyrday word! Or does Satyrday fall on Fryday this week? Will satyrs fry in hell? If so, why don't they seem more saturnine...?

Actually, the thought has some merit. I guess it all depends on how one sees things ;-)

The liberals sure do like to ruin the nicest places. So true. OTOH, to be fair, they like to ruin everything they come into contact with.
The goodwife had an interesting observation yesterday, identical to one I'd made a few weeks earlier. In both cases one or both of us were walking a parade with our state representative who is up for re-election. Our experience of these activities is that they are fun, waving to the crowd (and sometimes getting applause and waves in return), of smiles, laughter and good cheer. A good time, in all.
But we have both noticed that our counterparts on the democRat side almost always look grim and driven. They act like cogs in a machine, as if they have an unpleasant duty to perform and by [Gaia] they're going to do it if it kills them.
It must be their outlook on life that makes them like this...

Interesting book review, Martin Amis' latest, lets lefty hypocrites re the Soviet Union have it in the neck. Including Christoher Hitchens, who isn't moving to the right as much as some around here might think.
