We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
At least three small planes flew in the airspace over Camp David this weekend while the President was there. None was determined to be intentional violations of the restricted airspace, though one of the aircraft did get sufficiently far into the prohibited zone to cause the Government to scramble F-15s. That aircraft was escorted to Winchester, VA, causing quite a stir among the residents as they saw a pair of F-15s circling the town at about 700 feet.
The House has passed, and the Senate is likely to also approve, a measure that would authorize the President to use force to free any individuals being held by the World Court - an international body not approved of by the United States, which came into existence today - and to prohibit arms sales to those Nation's which ratify the treaty for that court.
The United States has threatened, and may have already carried out, a veto in the UN Security Council against furthering the Bosnia Peace Keeping Operation (PKO) to keep US troops out of the reach of the new International Criminal Court. The US is also threatening to cut off all PKO money - about 25% of the budget for those operations - unless American soldiers will not be under the jurisdiction of the World Court.
Congressional investigators have found no evidence of a prearranged sell order between Martha Stewart and her broker regarding her ImClone stock.
Algore, who during the 2000 Presidential campaign reinvented himself numerous times, has decided, in the event he runs again in 2004, to reinvent himself again for that race. He said he'd "just let it rip and let the chips fall where they may."
And, in closing, a message for the Judges who sit on the US Ninth Circus Court:
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Post your short news items, issues of interest, links, and so on. All who advance the Cause are welcome.
LET'S ROLL!!!
I of course, was up but I was making my husband's breakfast (she said virtuously).
Tipper Gore questioned her mental health after the election. (I, of course, have questioned it for some time.)

And just think, now her physical health could be in jeapordy with big al saying he's gonna "let it rip"...I mean my goodness, as full of BS and hot air as al is, that could be downright deadly!
Rivendell... You beat gulfcoast this morning. Wow!
Weather pattern is continuing to show hot, humid air that is hanging around. I am not a big fan of this stuff, so when it lingers it makes a lot of us Midwesterners a little bit crazy.
The 4th is just around the corner, and already the media is talking about terrorists attacks looming.
The media is astonished that Americans feel that it could happen, but continue to plan celebrations. Why are they so surprised? Are we not Americans? We didn't cower in the face of the British back in the 18th Century. We fought long and hard throughout history to preserve our freedom. Why don't they understand this? Aren't they Americans as well?
One wonders how they can be so out of touch.
Anyway... good morningall!
Am anxious to hear how things went Nita!
I'd ask how you do that so well, but then I would look incompetent!
Miss Marple, Once again your wit rises like the sun. Yes... Tipper has always seemed to be a bit "off" to me. Course when you considered who she married, that explains an awful lot.
I will never forget when she was Mrs. VP, and talked to reporters about how it was more important to bring the plight about homeless-ness to the forefront, than to actually do anything about it. Amazing...
NBC says J.C. Watts will retire. Sigh.
Another warm one here.
We spent yesterday at the beach. It was relief from this hot humid "Stuff".
People wonder why I love Autumn so much...
I don't think I'd do so well down south! grrrrr....
