Here in Tennessee, the liberals are trying to impose an income tax. Tomorrow is the deadline and Freepers are heading to the capital

Never read that quote before. Who's G. Smith?
That idea of altruism is a religious belief & should be exercised in a private, voluntary sense, not incorporated into government, where there is the element of coercion.
In this case, religion and the state should remain separate and distinct.

AND A GOOD A.M. TO YOU 'SLEEPY HEADS' OUT IN FREEPER LAND, USA FROM THE 'MUGGY' MS GULF COAST, USA.!!!! I'm telling you, you got to condition yourself with staying in shape to be # 1, well, kinda in shape, err, just a tad in shape.
The repubs pass a prescription drug bill, demoflops, not good enough, they had been 'one uped' once again. My drug bill with all the heart medication looks like the national debt and it would be nice to get some relief but I can live with it. Besides, it gives me something to gripe about with the drug cos charging such high prices.
'The wooden one', according to Jack Quinn. wasn't he before congress 'xplaining' some hanky panky with some money last year? "He is in demand' Quinn said, like the damand to have posion ivy.
I am on reading kick, finished another book yesterday and started another. Think I will go tho the christian book store today and get me some more books. The book I am on now is a study in ressurection and it really keeps my attention. Talking of books I don't know if you have had the chance to read the 'Left Behind' series and if you havn't read them, start, you will not be able to put them down, the best I have ever seen, fiction but so real.
How about it, isn't it about time for Hollings to laspe into a sr. Citizen moment? The older age is great, I enjoy every minute of it but I know when to stop doing certain thinga, he should just retire. And, judges, thery should have a retirement goal when they reach 68.
Tiem to go to daughter house for cup #3 of coffee so, prayers for you safety and that you be kept free from harm and, for OUR President W, may his exam turn out OK and for the elderly, we look and listen and see so many who are foolish with their actions. Have a good day and a safe one.

Let's see if I can remember it all...
A few months back when the forum went thru The Big Divide, the News threads on one side, and the chatty, less serious (according to Those In Charge) on the other side, ATRW ended up in the second category..
(Here's where I'm a little shaky on the details - )
This second - General Interest - side is sometimes referred to as the Cheese side, Cheeseville, etc., cause of certain threads concerning Cheese which provoked the Big Divide.
These so-called Cheese threads were considered unworthy of the serious nature of the forum, and they, and we, were cast into the darkness of the General Interest side.
Thus,to make light of our banishment, sometimes our new home is called Cheeseville, Cheesetown,etc...
Makes perfect sense, no??!! LOL!
