You have been warned...

For anyone who doesn't believe what the Palestinians are teaching their youth isn't a religion of death, the Israeli Defense Force released the following photograph of an infant found in the Hebron home of a Palestinian man wanted by Israelis:

An explosion, belived by many to be the work of Al Qa'eda and the Talibums, in a munitions store in southern Afghanistan, killed five and started a fire in a UN food center.

A major battle is underway in the Philippines against a guerrilla group associated with Al Qa'eda.

Two men who were part of Iran's delegation to the UN, and who were in this country for only about four months, were expelled after being seen videotaping such things as the Holland Tunnel, Brooklyn Bridge, and other landmarks.

A Muslim lady in Florida is suing the state saying she does not want a photo of her on her driver's license not wearing a veil. Prior to September 11, she was allowed to have a photo wearing the veil, but after that date, the Florida authorities insisted she (and presumably others) replace it with one showing her visage as a matter of public security.

About the only time Hubby and I disagree is when it comes to room temperatures. I think there should be a pre-nup agreement with all couples stating one can not freeze the other one out of the room. Hubby cranks the air conditioner so low, I have to wear my winter jammies. :-)

Let's see...it is estimated that between 6 and 10 percent of the country is aethiest. Add to that the tree huggers, liberal democRATS, anarchist etc. and probably 25% of the country is AFRAID of G-D.

Now, if I was an aetheist, I would have two postulates: If I'm correct, and there is no God, no problem. If I'm NOT correct, the I would have a BIG PROBLEM.

Methinks that 20 or so percent should keep quiet about G-d in our country.

Pascal was a fascinating figure: scientist,mathematician, and of course, Christian philosopher, and considered a heretic by the Catholic Church. I believe the argument you make is called The Great Wager by Pascal in his Pensées, but I may be wrong in that detail.

Interestingly, even tho he lived at the beginning of the Enlightenment and was a scientist, he believed Faith was a sounder guide to Christian revelation than Reason.
