i have gloves and should wear them every time i garden, but often i get started weeding/working and i am too lazy to go back in the house and get them.
consequently, i've ruined my nails and gotten numerous fire ant bites.
gloves are a good idea :)

It takes too long to try and dig all that dirt out from under your nails! Plus, I hate callouses or blisters. I even make StoneCold wear gloves. I don't want any rough mitts on me!

No doubt my patented mercy screws will get me into the Humanitarian Hall of Fame (where there will be no women joining me for the same types of acts, sadly), but I wasn't smart to stay single, it would have been plain dumb for me to get married, but let's not open that can of worms again.
