My husband & I met in highschool.......he was a transfer student from South Carolina, but I didn't meet him until the last 3 months before graduation.

I grew up with all the kids I graduated with, and he was certainly a new face.

We met while working on scenery for the highschool play.

Attracted right from the start.....:)

Dated steadily for 4 years......married one week after college, and right before he went to boot camp.

It's lasted........prolly cause he's such a big tease......

..he lives to tease me......:^

After dating for 4 years.......& very chaste & proper, gulfcoast :) .....we had one week of honeymoon, and then he was gone to Great Lakes for weeks & weeks, and then Charleston, and then his duty assignment.

I asked him twice about Connie last night, and he dodged it, pulling out his crying towel instead.The timing was a real stinker, as he shows up just as Levin/? leaves, and upbraids all that had the temerity to question Levin's/?? analysis on the Middle East.Which led me to believe he was doing someone's bidding, in his very own sanctimonious manner.

He really behaves like a girly-man.

I am reminded of those SNL skits from yonder when Gilda Radner used to have a rant and then close with "nevermind".This is what his monologue was like today.

An AP stringer was taking pictures of blood donors at the church today. She did ask me for my name and information, so you guys might want to keep an eye out for my picture in an AP story. I'll be the guy that has the flat-top and is giving blood.

Guennie ~~~ Way back in the back of my mind is this little niggling memory of my discovering that there was another Guenevere on FR while you were still here and posting regularly. I seem to recall mentioning it to you and commenting on how weird that was but don't recall whether it was on the forum or in FReepmail.

..... I think you are a "victim" of some little quirk or lapse in the system ..... that may entitle you to full victim's considerations and privileges ..... LOL! Seriously, you may want to email JimRob or JohnRob one day and have them check into it ..... maybe they would at least give you your original sign on date back.

You see ...I was deep in the depths of dispair ... having been the victim of a hurled insult ... of the worst order! Oh! 'Twas below the belt! ... beyond the pail! ... over the line .. an epithet from the darkest regions ... *sob* ...

He ... he called me .... *hic* ~~~~ another Robert Frost ... ???? SMKs ... LOL! Maybe, if I could have stayed longer ... he would have viciously called me ... John Steinbeck ... *gasp* ... the horror of it all.

I think the fellow fell off his meds and his rocker ... all at once.

DJ ... *prayers* for your wonderful sister Cammysmom ... a close friend of my daughter's had Crohns disease ... and it is simply awful. The poor kid. Finally, this summer, docs removed a portion of her small intestine and she is finally able to live a normal life!
