Jeez, what'd ya do, pal?
I know a guy who was banned for offering up a not so terribly controversial POLITICAL OPINION during the nightly women's masturbation fest titled 'a day in the life of William Jefferson Clinton George W. Bush. In fact, the way it was relayed to me was, that it was in fact offered as a COMPLIMENT of President Bush's ability to remain focussed on many serious threats at one time.
Can you imagine that ?!? Someone actually having the timerity of offering up a POLITICAL OPINION on Free Republic ? Or someone actually dissenting from the prevailing one of the hour ? Or someone disagreeing without using a stream of invectives or four letter words ? Why if enough of that happens, Free Republic may have a return to the days of healthy political debate and insight.
But I won't hold my breath waiting.

Bush.LOL! What I always wondered about those threads, is that normal FR rules don't seem to apply. Normal rules simply dictate you stay on topic. Now, if the thread is called "A day in the life of President Bush", then anything Bush said or did that day should be considered "on topic" and appropriate for that thread. This, apparantly, is not the case. Just admire the pretty pictures, and shut up, I guess.
