That's quite a consensus..........wrong, but nonetheless, quite a consensus.
Maybe they're all punch drunk.

Tyson just asked Lewis for a rematch.Said he 'could have used' a few tuneup fights.

I have rarely laughed harder in years Hole-n-1 . Thank you for your wonder artistic input. It has took me forever to post this, because it is hard to type while laughing.

Just shows how uninspiring Lewis is, I think he needs a Tyson in better shape to fight against for more big dollars.

It's all this "male bonding" on this thread! I was glad to see you jump right in with the guys. (And thanks for the questions -- I'm trying to learn hockey as I watch the Hurriances!)

I remember the FNF too. My dad and grandmother (!) would watch them together. Remember...."How are you fixed for blades (you better check..." Also sponsored by Pabst Blue Ribbon, I think. Well, I checked in here WAAY too late tonight, but thought I'd add my 2 cents.
I remember those times too, but instead of Pabst (what the grown ups were drinking) I was limited to Dad's Old Fashioned Root Beer (and if I was especially favored by the elders) over some ice cream.

Offended, my butt....
Yes, I have seen a live boxing match....I still don't see how a round could be scored 10-9 when one boxer totally dominates, landing 10 times the number of punches. For that matter, I have seen a round scored where one boxer didn't land a single punch and the round was still scored that close...
So what's up with that? Sympathy?

Thanks, everyone, for the round by round descriptions, the graphics and for providing such a fun thread. :)

You must understand professional boxing scoring on the "ten must system".
Round was even: 10-10
One boxer clearly better: 10-9
Boxer knocked down the other: 10-8
Boxer knocked down the other twice and beat him to a bloody pulp: 10-7.
Anything worse than that and they stop the fight.
Points may be deducted for rules violations.
Boxing judges are typically the same folks who judge Olympic figure skating with the same eye for detail and financial inducements.
