A distinction without a difference, as far as I am concerned.
No rebuttal, 'eh?
Now, end of thread.
You lost me when you said Bush's war policy (one which lacks a formal declaration of war and isn't even being waged on those responsible for the attacks) was sound.
No need to "rebut."
We'll never see eye to eye on this. Like many others, you'll simply tell me that the constitution is outdated and inconvenient. "I trust Bush" is usually the final declaration. Do you trust Hillary!? She will have the patriot act with which to persecute the evil Christians in this country. Hope you're ready for that.
Hmmmm. Maybe we are not in disagreement after all. My point regarding the radical Muslims is that it was too bad that a fairly large number of the total population of Muslims had adopted a policy of mahem, destruction, and murder as a means to advance their "cause". As to the "Bush Doctrine" on terrorism, policy is morally sound on its base, that is, terrorism must be confronted proactively wherever it arises, and that states that willinglly harbor and support terrorists are equally culpable. Probably you and i agree that the execution of the policy has been weak at best (aside from the Afghanistan front).

No I woldn't. I am an ardent Constitutionalist, probably more libertarian than republican.

Actually, I trust no politician. And I despise Hitlery and the rest of the fascist socialist Democrats.
We'll never see eye to eye on this.
Maybe we are not as far apart as we thought.
