Thanks for enlightening Mr. L. I have one (basket) that I hang on the wall and one that I use for fresh fruit. And I often bring back the smaller ones as gifts for friends and they love them especially if I bring the handout that tells the history of them etc.
Also, if you love anitques you must stroll down Queen Street (or is it King Street) and browse through the shops. You will be amazed.

Such a great pic. Dubya has that classic terrier owners look on his face; the little sweeties are incorrigible.

BWB: What a great picture! I think that little doggie has more power that Arafat and Sharon together do to "get to" our president. Cool in the crisis that matter!
DS Guess I'll have to wait. I'm so conservative I don't even have a VISA or MASTERCARD. Debit works fine, but dang you have to have the money in the account.

I hope he gets back up there soon (that would mean more work (-:). If he doesn't know where that street is already "Mr. Mental Map" will find it, no problem-o. Thanks, I'll ask him to take me with next time and we'll check it out.
Good Night All and sweet dreams!

fof - I thought that the sweet gums were IN the basket. We'll check it out. The antiqueing should be almost as good as NewOrleans - which is fantastic.
Rest well, happy dreams.

Thanks for the great photos...wife said she could hear the water running in the stream. We went to the Butchart Gardens on Vancover Island a few of years ago. Stayed at the Empress Hotel in Vic.toria. You can accesss their site thru Google.

Yes, I finally found all my paperwork and the taxes are done. I am so glad I saw the local news tonight. Turns out that since they switched where Michigan sends their federal taxes, they don't have to be postmarked until Tuesday. They said we have to send them to Massachusetts which has a state holiday tomorrow. I had already filled out an envelope for Cincinnatti. That could have been a real mess.

Wherever they are, I want to go there! Those gardens are absolutely beautiful!
To: BigWaveBetty
WOW....I LOVE those gardens....we're in trouble here now...as I'm an obsessive gardener....I'm seeing lots more bulbs in my yard, LOTS and LOTS! Thanks for the pics.

Well, I had the wierdest thing happen this morning. I entered Free Republic (I think I was in General Interest) and the first thread listed was "The Guild....Wednesday...." (I can't remember the whole thing). Under the title I could see our logos, Hyacinth and Howlin's kitchen/den pictures. I went to the thread and started reading old commments about Garlic Smashed Potatoes. I thought you had pulled up images and posts from the past...and then I realized I was in the thread for 11/16/2001. I went back to the main listings..it wasn't there and I cannot find it again. (Twilight Zone?)
I thought those "Pre-improvements" threads were gone. Any ideas what's going on?

In case some of you don't know, mini_teacup is my daughter. She is also the mother of "MY" beautiful 4 grandkids.
Child bride? No, it really was mini_teacup who was a child bride. Do you know she made me a granny at 37 years old? But that's another story, LOL,LOL.
BigWaveBetty, you are so right about getting together. I wish the Guild would put together a "Guild Party" where we could all meet. Wouldn't that be a hoot?

Oh isn't that Barney a handful? He likes to get into everything. I heard Laura Bush remark about how Barney likes to bite the feet of those who visit the White House. Did you see the interview on TV with the president in the White House. Barney chased their cat up the stairs, LOL,LOL. Oh that Barney!!!! The look on GW's face says it all, doesn't it?

Did you by any chance read the very last comment on that old Guild thread? Sometimes people pull up old threads to practice their graphics. Perhaps someone did that and pressed send by mistake?
My goodie of the day, from the Prowler, is that Carol Mosely Brown or Braun or whoever, is considering running for Senate in '04. She has lived in Alabama for the past three years but has kept her legal residence as Illinois and might run against FitzGerald in Illinois.....

Great pictures and you are adorable, my dear. No way are you a biological grandma,,,LOL...

I'll bet this gal wishes she had your genes. She is just chocked full of Botox, plus her lips have been enhanced, her eyes, her cheeks. Not to mention the hair. She has not accepted middle age, I guess. She looks terrible, IMO. And she does not look happy either.
