When the controversy erupted about the memorial of the WTC flag raising, I wondered how we were going to remember those killed at the Pentagon.
Now I know.

That bothered you, too, did it?
If we think about it, we know the reason the Pentagon has recieved the short end of a dirty stick...
News about the military, other than from the front lines, is still rarely positive. I had to go to what I guess we'd call a trade publication site to find this. I do believe I'm going to start looking for nuggets there regularly.
SAMWolf and others (g'nad, f'rinstance) have been finding good things to post. I'm just gonna see if I can lend a hand.

This has been bothering me so much. The way the Pentagon deaths have practically been ignored. I just do not understand it.

FallGuy and I discuss it a lot and he feels the same way.

I am so glad to know that this is being done. As others have said, it has bothered me that so little has been said about those killed at the Pentagon.

And may God continue to watch over those who lost loved ones on that infamous day, whether in DC, NYC, or PA! ... and those who survived but are wounded in body or spirit!

Thanks HiJ for the post. You are absolutely correct about the Pentagon victims of 9/11 receiving little, if any recognition from the main-stream media.

They've shown the building ablaze, the reconstruction but very little about the personal stories of the victims and survivors inside the building.

Not only have the victims not received the press that WTC has, but I was stunned to read the conspiracy theories on other threads. I'm sure you've all become aware of them, too.
