Organized criminal networks stand accused of using stolen American identities, fictitious college students, and artificial intelligence to fraudulently obtain federal student loans and grants.
n October 29, 2026, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced a nationwide crackdown on organized criminal networks accused of using stolen American identities, fictitious college students, and artificial intelligence to fraudulently obtain federal student loans and grants. The announcement followed the Treasury Department’s identification of approximately $270 million in suspicious financial transactions. Investigators believe the “fraud has been ongoing since at least 2021.”
The investigation, dubbed Operation Ghostbusters, has expanded to “more than 40 open cases” across 26 FBI field offices and more than 20 U.S. attorneys' offices. Five defendants have been charged, and authorities have seized more than $750,000 in cryptocurrency tied to the alleged fraud scheme through an international money-laundering network “associated with Kenyan nationals.” Justice Department representatives traveled to Kenya in September to coordinate efforts involving extradition, prosecution, and asset recovery.
The DOJ release also states that “in Sept./Oct. of 2026, investigators identified 830,840 potentially fraudulent FSAIDs relating to nearly $130 million and recommended that the Department of Education disable those IDs.”
At an October 29 news conference, Assistant Attorney General Colin M. McDonald of the Justice Department's National Fraud Enforcement Division described an elaborate scheme in which criminals impersonated Americans who had never attended college, enrolled nonexistent students, and collected federal financial assistance. McDonald described the seizure as the “first international seizure of its kind in Kenya.” He added, "This is organized fraud at scale." He warned that the Justice Department would pursue those responsible both here and abroad.

This was President Trump wholly abandoning young white males who can’t get jobs, can’t buy homes, and see no future in favor of BoomerCons and Israel.
These young white men who were so integral to his 2024 reelection stayed home yesterday.

It will be interesting to see if the anti=illegal voices on our side with listen to facts and logic.
The vast majority of illegals do not murder, rape... DUI, Drunk n Disorderly. ICE *(and Trump) made a major mistake in:
1) going after illegals who work hard, take care of family and sit beside us in church.
2) Getting suckered into the strategy of the left to make the Renee Goods the issue and not immigrants.
That needs to be fixed immediately.
Of course, immigration is not the only issue.
Yes, MAGA did not turnout to vote. The money spent on Hormuz meant money not left in the pockets of taxpayers... or not spent on domestic projects. It meant high prices for gasoline and food and things that depend on oil from the tractor in the field to delivery to the door.
Most importantly, it was a betrayal as Trump ran against foreign forever wars.
Illegals working hard are doing jobs Americans ought to be doing, and occupying housing that is no longer available to legal residents.
