The biggest thing Trump can do to help Republicans is get this war in Iran over with.

His economic agenda is working, the economy is picking up, get gas prices back to under $3/gallon, which will help inflation, and the economy growing a 3-4% and things will look a lot better for Republicans.

I don't know about that. Trump is a liability now. You'd better believe the MAGA magic is over. A historic opportunity squandered, pissed away over broken promises, "Big Announcements!" that never materialized, and a war with Iran that nobody asked for.

Probably the most prudent course of action he could take is to resign and let JD Vance clean up his mess (he will do no such thing though).

While I want the economy to keep improving, if it does do this over the next two years, it will be Democrats that get credit for it heading into 2028 since they will be in control of Congress. If anything, this cycle should show that a majority American voters aren't the sharpest tools in the shed and don't really pay attention to the things they should be paying attention to.
