I'd write a vanity on the election -- it's been awhile since I've written one, but I have a work project to wrap up.
Key points / Cliff's Notes:
1) What happened to the Data Republican warnings on a color revolution?
2) What happened to all the MSM outlets (led by PBS) the night before the election, that "if a race is to close to call going into the evening, that's normal, and ifthe candidate ahead when counting stops for the night *cough* the Republican *cough* loses his lead overhight, that's no hint of cheating
3) WHy is the White House so calm? This is not like The Donald, normally he'd be tweetig (X'ing?) up a storm.
4) What he *has* said:
"I can work with the Democrats on immigration"
"The won't impeach me, that would destroy the Democrat Party"
and discuss the implications of them
5) The relative lack of infighting and finger-pointing
a) Thune says "we will not lie down during a Dem majority"
(he can't do anything once the Dems nuke the fillibuster)
b) Just a few of the influencers trying to deflect from Israel, and a bit of v skirmishing over Hegseth, mostly via rumors, except Massey
c) importance of Hegseth re: putting down color revolution
6) Fraud --
a) why did so many conservative initiatives pass despite a blue wave?
b) EVERY county in Texas went hard blue
c) Even one Dem candidate who was convicted of a felony and stopped campaigning, won
d) What happened to Trump's bounty on Fraudulent voters?
8) Suspiciously, we got rid of a LOT of RINOS
9) The youth went HARD left, maybe young white males sat out or voted D in protest or from "burn it all down, let's get the collapse and rebuild started already" syndrome 10) Who is the new GOP Presidential candidate? If Trump were riding high, pick JD.
But after the monumental failure of the Trump admin to live up on its promises, and given that JD is married to a dot-not-feather Indian, he'll have a hard time wining back white males. Does that leave Meatball DeSantis? Florida went harder red.
11) Look for the power struggles in the DEM Party as the DSA / Islamists try to take control from the aging out Socialists. And possibly for overshoot -- but will the left put things in place to assure the steal in 2028 and the consequent destruction of the US?

Many young men (called “haters” and “extremists” around here) either sat it out or held their noses and voted for insane Democrats to disrupt—they use stronger language :-)— the establishment Republicans.
The hatred for Vivek and Abbott are two examples highlighted in their broadcasts to their faithful.
They are looking forward to a wild brawl in the primaries in 2028 and beyond. They have been the “outs” and they are angry and want to start calling the shots.
The old folks around here will find it hard to believe what the future of the Republican Party will look like.
In other words, “We Blew Up The Team”.
JMO: Thune was working with Trump to NOT pass the SAVE Act. Because: timing.
I am wondering if Thune/Senate will be unleashed between now and Jan 3.
Not counting on it, but one can hope.
I’m kind of expecting various newly elected Ds to be picked off for various reasons before Jan 3 and many of them to be picked off afterwards.
I think the next 2 months will unfortunately still be messy. And dark.
But I am not sad/depressed/dooming. Just frustrated that this is taking so freaking long. (My one depressing concern: Is it part of the plan to have many of the criminals just die of old age in order to avoid a civil war? If so, then all of us old good guys are also going to be dead. Not happy about that prospect. I want to live long enough to enjoy the win.... which has already taken 7-8 years longer than I expected!)
