The Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 4–3 in 12 innings Tuesday night, keeping their World Series hopes alive.
Milwaukee appeared poised to sweep the series when rookie Cooper Pratt homered in the top of the 12th to give the Brewers a 3–2 lead.
But Tampa Bay refused to quit. A throwing error by Milwaukee third baseman Joey Ortiz helped open the door, Jonny DeLuca tied the game with a single, and Ben Williamson delivered the walk-off hit to send the Rays home winners.
The victory cuts Milwaukee’s series lead to 3–1. The Brewers remain one win away from their first World Series championship, while Tampa Bay must keep winning to extend the series.

Tampa Bay wins...it is fixed, as I told my husband yesterday
I thought goodnesswins!
Why does the Series keep getting later?
I remember when it was over the first week of October...
1969 MLB added the league champion series. In 1995 they added the divisional series and later on the wild card series. MLB either needs to cut spring training down and start the season sooner or go to 155 games.
After the lockout, they are supposed to reduce the number of games to 154.
Mizz is throwing sliders at 98-99 mph. That is INSANE!
Diaz is wincing visibly. All for show?
Haha...not in pro sports these days
Maybe George Webb will be right this year.

Last night was a LONG game, so hopefully the Rays didn’t celebrate too long.
That was not a throwing error, the first baseman missed the catch, hitting the ball with the heel of his glove.
The RAYS PULLED RASMUSSEN AND Kelly needs to be pulled now!
Brewers 3-0 6th inning. It’s getting late...late...
What would you do?

Might have walked Pratt to play for double play. Probably should have let that foul ball go. Hindsight, but the Rays are running out of time.
Bottom of the 7th and Rays have 3 hits.
Sorry, 2 hits.
Congrats, Brewers and Brewer fans!!
Well, I was wrong. Congrats to Brewers.
