Bill Gates issues stark 20-year warning after revealing the only four jobs AI won't wipe out

The head of Microsoft, Bill Gates, has issued a further warning on how Artificial Intelligence will likely lead to mass unemployment, revealing just the four occupations he believes will survive the imminent AI expansion.

In a recent interview, Gates revealed that while AI will create “true abundance”, the next two decades will be “as tumultuous a period as there’s been in human history.”

Gates's bold new claim comes with '20-year warning'

Discussing the prospect of AI superseding the workforce in the years to come, Gates offered his 20-year warning on the Decoder podcast, having already disclosed which sectors were most under threat.

"My big concern is this 20-year transition period, where they'll have winners and losers and a lot of disruption," he claimed.

The multi-billionaire predicted that white-collar jobs are likely to be the first to take an AI-induced hit, claiming those roles were done “radically cheaper, radically faster, and even more accurately.

"If we don't choose to massively slow down or stop, then we will have robots that can build houses, grow food, and do surgery. And none of the things that human labor provides to the economy will be necessary for most goods and services."

He’ll still be able to rape kids on Epstein’s island.

For the click adverse, from the article:

“Gates audaciously claimed that only coders, biologists, energy workers, and professional athletes would actually survive the uncertain technological takeover that will come with the advancement of AI.”

I’d have thought police officer would have been on that list. But I guess AI robots will be able to put down the inevitable riots.

Anyway, I guess Biden was right about coding after all.
🙁

Bill Gates says coders, biologists, energy workers, and professional athletes
are among the few fields that will remain secure against AI replacement.

• Coders: Essential for building AI systems, writing underlying architecture, and designing complex systems from scratch.

• Biologists: Crucial for scientific research and medicine due to human creativity, intuition, and intuitive leaps.

• Energy Workers / Experts: Needed to navigate regulations, manage power grids, and handle crisis control.

• Professional Athletes: Human-driven entertainment like sports will still be valued because people prefer watching humans rather than computers compete.

He has also suggested that society may need to intentionally reserve certain human-centric roles—such as specific jobs in healthcare, education, art, cooking, and childcare—for humans, even if AI becomes technically capable of performing them.

Do not ever believe any AI prognostication from anyone heavily invested in AI.

I’m hoping that someone can code AI that’ll rid us only of leftists, globalists, bureaucrats, leftist “academics” and all degenerate freaks like Gates. That would end so much of the manufactured chaos and death breaking out in the world today.

They are using AI to cover for the 10 million jobs taken by “guest worker” Indians over the last 20 years.

I think customer facing jobs where personality makes a difference will still be around. Bartenders, for example. Now if you are a bartender and you are terrible, that is you don’t engage with your engagement starved customers, that’s not going to work.

Like climate change, these predictions usually turn out to be false but I’m glad to be living in interesting times.

Companies are still feeling their way with AI.
Its adoption will increase exponentially as we go forward.
Do what I did: learn to code.

What an interesting source. British by contact address, but with a ISP domain for Columbia, registered through GoDaddy in 2010. That is interesting since the incorporation date for the London LLC is 2020.

Their Brit snail maill address:

Jungle Creations Limited
6 Batty Street,
London, E1 1RH,
United Kingdom

AI lacks judgment and can’t analyze contracts, at all.

It does a fine job of cleaning up stuff, but it’s completely unable to tell what is important and what favors one side of a deal or the other.

It just parrots other deals and does so badly.
