Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) has denied allegations this week she fraudulently married second husband and alleged brother Ahmed Elmi — but when asked if they were related, cautiously replied “not to my knowledge.”
The Minnesota congresswoman, who arrived in the US as a refugee from Somalia in 1995, has vehemently denied allegations she married Elmi for immigration purposes.
But significant evidence has emerged which continues to fuel speculation that is not the case:
Clue 1: The marriage certificate
Omar, 45, legally married Elmi, 41, who she described as a British citizen, in the US in 2009 and they divorced in 2017.
Omar’s family background is split across continents and complicated by Somalian paperwork being lost or destroyed.
Her mother is said to have died when she was young and her family is said to be split, with one branch in the UK and one in the US.
Elmi’s parentage is not known, but he lived in London with Leila Nur Said, a Somali woman who is thought to be Omar’s sister, who possibly raised him.
A UK marriage certificate for Leila from 1997 obtained by The Post lists her father as Nur Said Elmi, a military officer from Somalia.
Omar’s late father, Nur Omar Mohamed also went by the name Nur Said Elmi and was a prominent military commander in the Somali dictatorship, which millions fled from.
Multiple sources have told The Post they believe the person listed on the British legal document is Nur, Omar’s father.

I’ve never hoped I’ll be wrong about anything more but I have this sick feeling we’re eventually going to hear a statement from the DOJ that goes something like:
“after an extensive investigation we have determined there was no wrong doing that reaches the threshold to prosecute or deport”.
I hope not but it wouldn’t surprise me.
We don't know if that is the truth. She was with Hirsi, then her father demanded that her gay brother come to the US from London, and they married to get him a green card. He rebelled after two years and went back to London, and she returned to her real husband.
He’s not even in the closet. He’s getting advanced degrees in Queer Studies and is apparently very Out in London.

Your supposition is true for a massive amount of government deep-staters employed by us, but there is one caveat → Congress might largely just shut up and think twice over this as many of them are guilty of payoffs, payback usury, thievery, skimming, hush monies, ad infinitum and it’s quite possible that they will stay out of this as not to draw attention to themselves.
I guess that many in Congress/deep state going to prison remains a fantasy.

I think it’s extremely likely that her wrongdoing will go unpunished. She’s in the club.
And in large part it’s all ONE BIG club.
The notion that there are still two distinct political parties is mostly an illusion.
That photo looks like Ilhan with a fake mustache.
I can’t say I understand what is really going on here, but I fail to see how Ilhan fits into U.S. politics. Her ideas are nuts.

Democrats will though, when they denaturalize and deport people like Elon Musk and Melania Trump.
Amazing how they are allowed to circumvent our laws to come over here to live off our taxpayers. It’s criminal what our politicians have done to us.
If that’s not an AI created image, then the resemblance is uncanny. What an embarrassment for her to be in America, let alone a member of Congress.
She’s Black African and therefore not subject to any cultural norms beyond her tribe.
African’s never assimilate because they lack the intellectual capacity to comprehend the new culture
