I know there are lots of reasons to complain about the federal courts, but do you realize how many 2nd Amendment wins we've had since 2016?
The government has refused to consider switchblades as defensive arms, but this Fifth Circuit ruling enshrines the controversial knives as arms protected under the Second Amendment.
The case also clarifies issues around the interstate sale and transfer of arms, ruling that in order to lawfully possess an arm you have to be legally allowed to purchase such an arm.
Here's more on the ruling:

Ping!.................
The Jets are gonna get it tonight!
Bowie knives are still illegal IIRC.
I think they have been legal to sell in 3-4 states.
I have a Stiletto I bought, I think it came from NC.
It is a real Stiletto, made in Italy.
There are a lot of fakes on the market.
I also had a cheap Chinese made 3” pocket knife/automatic blade that eventually broke.
Once I went bald, I traded my switchblade comb for a real switchblade. It’s highly satisfying to open a high-quality Italian switch blade with a 4-5” blade over and over and over.
More gnashing of Democrats teeth...
2nd Amendment
for what?
.......to the security of a free State,
There are many words in the second amendment, eyes tend to go to just a few. It is the same with the Bible.

This video gives a brief history of Italian Stiletto knives and the difference between cheap Chinese knives and classic Italian made.
About 30 years ago I went to Juarez (you wouldn’t go there now)and got caught trying to bring a switchblade across the border. You would have thought I was trying to smuggle a nuke. Detained me for over 4 hours and strip searched me. They told me the only way I could have a switchblade in the U.S. is if I only had one arm. I got a ticket that cost me a $100.00
I think I want my money back.

That doesn’t look very practical - but I want one! ;-)
Wait, people who live in human debris run blue States have been having their gun rights trampled on for years, and we are worried about stupid knives?
There is nothing stupid about knives and the complexity of knife laws throughout America make gun laws seem simple.
I was bringing in (illegally) a bunch of those forward auto knives from Germany to the states when one fell out of its hiding place in my jacket, the army customs guy was going to make a big deal out of it, but luckily his boss told him my unit could carry them.
2A doesn’t stipulate the types of “arms”. Offensive, defensive, area denial, orbital, Death Star...
“Shall not be infringed.”
